HOW TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT
Please call us at (502) 584-1254 to schedule your first appointment. We accept intake calls Monday through Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Appointments are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and during evening hours by request.

DOCUMENTS TO BRING WITH YOU
We will need to see any letters or documents sent to you by the Internal Revenue Service as well as photocopies of your previous tax returns. Please bring these papers with you when you come in for your first appointment. If you have not kept copies of your tax papers, we will order printouts of your tax record from the IRS.
ELIGIBILITY FOR TAX SERVICES
Legal services are provided free of charge by Legal Aid Society staff attorneys and volunteer tax attorneys. Your eligibility for free services will be based on income ceilings that change annually. Click here to view program eligibility guidelines.
SERVICES FOR NON-ENGLISH SPEAKERS
If you do not speak English, we will provide an interpreter at your appointment, in accordance with federal law.
The tax clinic is funded by both local and federal grants, including a nominal grant from the Internal Revenue Service. This funding does not affect legal representation provided by the tax clinic. The clinic is not part of the Internal Revenue Service. The clinic does not generally provide tax return preparation services.
